I think my problem is that I update my “day-to-day life” blog and neglect my creativity one.  :}

So what have I made this past year? Well, I’ve on a jewelry kick, so I’ve made many ceramic beads for turning into jewelry. This is one of my favorites:
I made skull-and-crossbones soaps again for Halloween:
Also in ceramics, I made more leaf motif dishes because I just love the way they look:
I think I’ll be making more soaps for gifting this holiday season. Haven’t decided yet what I want to make though. Come back and see what I end up creating!

They’re finally done!  Except for the container and the plastic grass divider, everything else is soap – the sushi, the wasabi, and the pickled ginger slices.  All the soaps have a tantalizing and refreshing Wasabi fragrance.

Each Sushi Soap is about the size of a Futomaki roll, approximately 2 ounces.

Made enough for 3 boxes of sushi.

I ended up making 3 sets of soaps, one of which has been given as a gift.

All ready to ship!

All ready to ship!

This is how I packaged it up to ship, with a piece of tissue paper inside so the wasabi and ginger won’t fly around.

If you’d like to order a set, it is $15 USD – this includes the whole package you see above: 2 sushi soaps, the wasabi soap, the pickled ginger soap, the container, the chopsticks, and the wrapping – with $5.00 USD shipping cost.
